€24.00Alexis Hudon, originally from Quebec, started working as a sommelier and served wine for 10 years in two of the best natural wine bars in Paris. Hudon established his own cellar space in 2019 and purchased his first six hectares of vines in 2021, making him one of the youngest natural winemakers on the scene.
€27.00These Grenache grapes are carefully selected from Philippe Brand’s friend’s biodynamic vineyard in the south of France. They are then taken back to Alsace where they have undergone semi carbonic maceration. When blended together, you get this concentrated cherries and sour plum mix, which is balanced by the prominent acidity. This wine suits anyone who enjoys a light red, berry explosion, with some additional depth of a skin contact orange wine.
The name ‘Hobstar’ refers to a specific cut glass design dating back to the early years of the 20th Century. During this period, several cut glass crystal items were produced employing this unique Libbey design.
Originally designed for bar and restaurant use, we pour our Bloody Marys in these Hobstars in our lunchroom. They make a classic and robust addition to any home bar.
