€25.00These Grenache grapes are carefully selected from Philippe Brand’s friend’s biodynamic vineyard in the south of France. They are then taken back to Alsace where they have undergone semi carbonic maceration. When blended together, you get this concentrated cherries and sour plum mix, which is balanced by the prominent acidity. This wine suits anyone who enjoys a light red, berry explosion, with some additional depth of a skin contact orange wine.
€24.00This is an exciting wine made from Riesling that comes from the same vineyard plot, but grapes that were harvested in 2015 and 2017. Winemaker Philippe Brand decided to blend the 2 vintages together which evolved into this petrol nosed, medium-bodied, kiwi and rich honey melon wine. Beautifully balanced with the acidity and the fresh finish continuing to travel.
Chardonnay 10% & Chenin grapes 90%
Drink 2019 - 2022.
Serve at 7°C.
Crémant de Loire is a Traditional Method (formerly called Champenoise Method). To deserve this designation, the grapes must be harvested by hand in crates and pressed according to a specific program to keep only the best of the juice. At La Viaudière, they mainly use Chardonnay and a little bit of Chenin to compose what is now a classic vintage. The Chenin will give its structure to the wine and the Chardonnay, its fruit, its fine bubbles, and its elegance. This Crémant de Loire Blanc is an ideal companion for sweet evenings with friends or family. We also recommend it to celebrate a great event: wedding, baptism, communion or birthday ... It will delight your guests by bringing friendliness and freshness.
Clean, crisp, and fruit-forward. Very refreshing, light nose with some fruits, pear, and peach, subtle mineralogy, good bubbles but not overly aggressive, long lingering fruit finish. Dry, medium body, light complexity, but balanced.View full product details
Domaine Brand & Fils - Ergersheim, Alsace
100% Sylvaner - 14% abv
If you love oxidized wines, then this Sylvaner is for you.
Just to break down the winemaking process. The tank was not filled all the way to the top with wine, which then caused a natural exposure to oxygen. It took 2 years for the wine to ferment and in the end, the layer of yeast (flor) protected the wine from oxidation. After five years of aging, it was then ready to be bottled.
Expect lots of nutty, honey, exotic fruits, and clean, flowing acidity on the palate with of course a powerful oxidative aroma and a rich golden colour in the glass.
This wine should be decanted before serving and lasts at least 4 days open.
Perfect with a hard cheese like Comtè or pairing it with a sweet dessert at your Christmas or Easter dinner.View full product details
Another delicious Welschriesling from Vykoukal's winery which is a great expression of the Austerlitz terroir. What's so typical for wines from this area? The soil here has a high amount of limestone and magnesium which give the wine a beautiful mineral character with almost salty and mildly bitter notes on the palate that intensify with further bottle ageing. This Welschriesling 2018 has a rich yellow colour (thanks to 48 hours skin contact/fermentation on skins before pressing), it's bone dry, with floral and fruity aromatics. It exhibits floral notes of acacia, linden, and honey while the palate is well structured with just a pop of acidity, followed by nuanced flavours of citrus fruits and green apples.

Stará Škola means Old School in Czech & this wine got this name for two reasons: grapes come from the oldest vines in Herzánovi's vineyards & it's been made the way our ancestors used to make wine - a field blend. By mixing all white wine grape varieties: Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, Sylvaner, Neuburger, Müller Thurgau, & Pálava that grow in this particular parce you get magic. This is a beautiful, multi-layered wine that surprises the drinker by how harmonious these disparate grapes are done together. You might not know it is a field blend if not told. It's earthy & herbaceous (sage, basil, sarsaparilla), but there is still plenty of grape expression. Widescreen but not unfocused, those gnarled old vines come together, harmonize, gel. One part of the wine was pressed directly, one had a few days of skin contact. Both are fermented & aged in used oak barrels for almost a year. Bottled without fining, filtration and absolutely no added sulphites, This wine is as simple & easy to drink/get your head around as you want, and also has complexities that only come out of such a big mix and the super ancient developed knotty vines.

Elegant and silky Pinot Noir with a ruby colour and a good viscosity. Packed with red fruits and cherries on the nose with very pleasant mild tannins. Another wine from Syfany which we fell in love with.

The Menu Pineau vines are 60 years old. Situated in the Loir-et-Cher.
Half of the winemaking process is done in a barrel and the other half in a fiberglass tank.
On the nose, you can smell lemons and tarragon herbs. There is a reductive smell once opened, but this fades.
The palate shows off a fuller-bodied white with a rounded mouthfeel. With a citrus zest and white pepper finish. Packed with flowing acidity.
Recommend decanting the wine before serving it.
