Chef / Cook Events

We're looking for someone to join the team for our busy events schedule on a freelance basis. This is mostly evening and/or weekend work.
We host parties (private and corporate), weddings, product launches and more in our space in Kreuzberg.
ABOUT YOU:
You are motivated, reliable, passionate and professional. You can have fun but take pride in your work and are ready to learn and grow.
You can deliver on our goal of giving Hallesches Haus customers delicious, well presented food made with the utmost care, consistency and quality.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred minimum 2 years experience in high volume catering or event kitchens

You have diligence and care with food presentation
-
You will report to the head chef and communicate regularly with owners and teammates

You'll need a strong sense of organisation and willingness to join the team in maintaining our systems and schedules

You are able to clean as you go and remain calm and tidy during peak service times

Experienced in stocktaking service areas and lines, or generally with stocktake
-
Willingness to learn new styles of food
- Experience in standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene / labelling etc.

Strong attention to detail, able to manage daily stock with care

You are reliable, accountable and punctual

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Working language English (German language highly valued)

Minimum two years in a professional cooking environment
