What is Christmas for if it isn’t for arson? I jest. Of course, it is for the ritualistic lighting of fires and candles. The stereotypical blazing Yuletide log in the fireplace and the advent candles and crowns might be just that—a stereotype . . . but the physical and atmospheric warmth that they bring is certainly a comfort year-round.
This box of matches is made by Archivist and the matches measure just over 28cm. There are 45 matches per box and a long strike section on one of the lengths of the box.

QUEUE Slim stick lighter
Tsubota Pearl has been manufacturing high-quality lighters and leather goods in Japan since 1952. All components are still made as they were back then, in specialised workshops in and around the Asakusa area of Tokyo.
These slim stick lighters are finished in monochromatic matte pastels and are très chic. So streamlined, you can even pop one into a cigarette case. You’ll be the first everyone turns to for a light.
